He studied education and pedagogy and afterwards Audiovisual Communication. In 2009 was selected to study photojournalism in the  Danish School of Media & Journalism (DMJX, Aarhus, Dinamarca). He has worked as a photojournalist specialized in multimedia in Eastern Europe and Center America. In El Salvador he worked for the world wide awarded newspaper El Faro. He has been published in spanish media and also international media.

In 2011 he was awarded with the Ortega y Gasset Prize in Digital Journalism for the multimedia reportage “El criminalista del país de las últimas cosas”. He’s codirector of the short documentary “Las Masacres de El Mozote” Official Selection of the Icaro Centeramerican Cinema Festival and finalist of the research prize IPYS 2012.

He’s also the cofounder of the PIEL de FOTO magazine and the production company These Glory Days.
